"Salmokji: Whispering Water" continuă să aibă un parcurs puternic la box office! Potrivit Sistemului de Informații al Box Office-ului Coreean (KOBIS), "Salmokji: Whispering Water" a depășit 2 milioane de spectatori începând cu 27 aprilie. Acesta este al doilea film coreean din 2026 care atinge această bornă, după "The King’s Warden", și cel mai bun rezultat pentru un film din genul groază coreean post-pandemie, fiind primul film de groază coreean care depășește 2 milioane de spectatori în opt ani, după "Gonjiam: Haunted Asylum".

Cu ocazia acestui succes, membrii distribuției "Salmokji: Whispering Water", inclusiv Kim Hye Yoon, Lee Jong Won, Kim Jun Han, Kim Young Sung, Oh Dong Min, Yoon Jae Chan și Jang Da A, împreună cu regizorul Lee Sang Min, s-au adunat pentru o fotografie de grup, folosind pietre pentru a simboliza cele 2 milioane de spectatori.

"Salmokji: Whispering Water" spune povestea unei echipe de producție trimise la un rezervor numit Salmokji pentru a reface imagini de drum, după ce o figură neidentificată a fost observată în imaginile lor inițiale.
