Samsung confirmă conectivitatea prin satelit pentru Galaxy S26 și dispozitivele Galaxy mai vechi

Conform 9to5google.com, Samsung a anunțat că își va extinde suportul pentru conectivitatea prin satelit, adăugând această funcționalitate în seria Galaxy S26 și în dispozitivele Galaxy mai vechi. Aceasta vine în contextul în care conectivitatea prin satelit devine din ce în ce mai standardizată în smartphone-uri.

Conectivitatea prin satelit a fost popularizată de Apple odată cu seria iPhone 14 din 2022, care a permis utilizatorilor să trimită mesaje de urgență. Google a urmat trendul cu dispozitivele sale Pixel din familia Pixel 9 lansată în 2024. Cu toate acestea, Samsung a fost mai tăcut pe acest subiect în ultima vreme.

Seria Galaxy S26 – S26, S26+ și S26 Ultra – va oferi conectivitate prin satelit în piețele majore, inclusiv în SUA, Europa și altele. Samsung afirmă:
